Q1. How do I activate my CITI Bank credit card?

Activate through Net Banking:

  • Click here to go to the Citibank Online page.
  • Login using your User ID and IPIN.
  • Click ‘Card Activation’ option on the homepage.
  • Enter the number and expiry date of your new card, along with your date of birth.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ and on the next screen enter your ATM PIN and again click on ‘Submit’.
  • Enter the OTP for authentication and click on ‘Continue’.
  • Your credit card will be activated and ready to use.

Activate through Mobile Banking:

  • Open the Citi Mobile App and click on the ‘Register or Activate a card’ option.
  • Choose the ‘Credit Card’ option from the menu.
  • Take a picture of your credit card from the side where the card number is printed.
  • Your card information will be automatically entered, or you can enter the information manually.
  • Click on ‘Next’ and verify your identity by entering an OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email address.
  • Create your User ID and Password and click on ‘Next’. You will also be asked to enter security questions.
  • Your credit card will be activated and ready to use.

You can check Credit Card Balance check with the following options:

Balance Check through Net Banking:

  • Visit Citibank Website
  • Enter User ID and IPIN and click ‘Login’
  • On the Citibank Online home page, click ‘Credit Card’ tab
  • Select the credit card for which you want to know the balance
  • Select ‘View account summary’
  • You can see balance summary of your Credit Card.

Q3. How can I generate my CITI credit card PIN?

You can generate CITI Bank credit card pin with the following options:

Using Net Banking:

  • Visit Citibank Website
  • Login with your net banking ID and password to log into the portal
  • Click on ‘Credit Cards’ found on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Select ‘PIN related’ followed by ‘ATM PIN’.
  • You will then be redirected to a webpage allowing you to change your credit card PIN.

Using IVRS:

  • Call the hotline number 1860 210 2484/022 4955 2484.
  • Enter your credit card number.
  • Select ‘PIN Change’.
  • Key in your DOB (date of birth).
  • An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter this number.
  • Enter your new PIN.

Using ATM:

  • Insert your credit card in a Citibank ATM
  • Click on “create PIN using OTP”
  • You will get an OTP on your registered mobile number
  • Enter the OTP
  • Now, type in a 4-digit PIN of your choice
  • Re-type the PIN and click on “Submit”
  • You will get a message that your PIN has been generated.
